ive been trying to figure out the cfm rating on a carb for ym dad can anyone help? it is a 2 barrel on a 68 289. it is on a fairlane if that matters. automatic choke and i belive a c-4 tranny. thanks fellas------------------ 1966 mustang coupe 200ci, V8 3 speed trans msd 6a ignition, blaster 2 coil, pertronix, 2 inch exhaust to a glass pac, stock rear,I have the single out header not on yet though,and i have the parts for the ram air intake (homemade). white w/ black interior

I believe there were two sizes, the small block carbs were 290 cfm, big blocks were 350 cfm. a 352 is a big block FE (Ford-Edsel) engine, later grown into the 390-427-428 engines. A 428 still has the number 352 cast into the front. Scott

Thought maybe carb size wise it would fall in the small block category for 290 cfm And possibly even the 360.
