I know I need a tach adapter for msd 6al box, but need to know how to hook up. I think the factory tach reads off of the positive side of coil and senses voltage pulses, but not sure. Has anyone had to hook this up? msd says all pre 76 fords are the same.

If you're using a 6AL, this box should have a male spade terminal installed on the Purple/green wire side of the box that you just plug into. You'll have to trace down the tach wire and connect it into the box.
