Hey Guys:
What can anyone tell me about FoMoCo-issued "1969 Mustang Headlamp Aim Adapters"?

I'm guessing that they were shipped in the trunk of (all?) new '69 Stangs. Printed on the plastic bag is:

"For Use by qualified technicians only. Envelope contains two adapters for aiming low beam (outboard) headlamps with Hopkins type mechanical aimers in the same manner as adapters which are used for 7" headlamps, #6012. Do not discard."

Thanks in advance,
Ryan

I had a set of those adapters in a parts car. Sold 'em a couple years ago on Ebay for around $40 I think. I wonder if the "Do Not Discard" warning is from the same people who warn you not to remove the mattress tags?

Thanks for the response, WK289!
So do you think/know it the aim adapters were FoMoCo-issued?

Ryan,

I have what I think is a set of these adapters that I found in the trunk of my first 69. They have a FoMoCo Part# C9ZB-13B119-B and also have "TOP" marked on them. I will have to get a picture of what I have and see if anyone can confirm that is what these are.

Ronnie,
Once you get a pic of what you have, please post it here so I can compare it with what I have to see if we're talking about the same thing...

Thanks!
Ryan
