Just wondering if the PB pedal on a 70 Mustang is different than that of the 68-9 pedal and if so how is it different?

They are different, and one thing that comes to mind is the way that the accelerator cable attaches to them is unique. They're two different cables, and thus the pedals are different to accept one or the other. I can't remember though, if there is any difference beyond this, but someone will be along shortly to chime in.

Power Brake pedal doesn't have an accelerator cable attached to it...hehehe. 69 and 70 share the same brake pedal/clutch pedal support bracket so pedal should be the same between those two years. 68 has a different under dash bracket but would probably function okay. The power brake pedals from 67 - 70 are longer and mount higher in the bracket giving a different ratio of travel when you press the pedal. You can easily identify them by the smaller bushing they have. The inside diameter is about 1/2 inch instead of about 1" on the manual pedals.

I know the 68-69 power pedals are the same but I thought the 69 and 70 pedals might have been different. I thought I saw something about the boosters being slightly different. I thought the 69 and 70 supports were also different because of something with the columns being different.

My contribution is only circumstantial evidence. NPD markets 68/9 pedals as an item - not 68/70 or 67/70.

Ahhh, power brake pedal. I don't know why I was thinking accelerator pedal, sorry for not reading it better before responding.
