Hey guys,
My restore is going great. I am readying for paint. Who knows a site that would tell me what gets black, clearcoat, and outside body color?

Also, I really like the Brittany Blue that 67 &68 had. My car was an x which is Presidential Blue. That is too dark.

What color interior will go with the Brittany Blue? Where is the best place to purchase vinyl seat covers and door covers with this color?

Thaanx 4 help.

Tom Schmidts mustang links would probably help you out alot with your first question.
As far as the interior in 67 if you ordered Brittany Blue you could have gotten a parchment, blue or black interior and in 68 the options were the same. I don't think you could go wrong with a black interior especially since it won't show dirt and stuff as easily as parchment but I like parchment with a black carpert and if I had it to do over I would have done that way in my 67 coupe.

When I do mine over again I'm going dark green metallic with parchment interior and green carpet. You can see blue with black interior on my car now.

Thanks for help.
Who is the best supplier of interior components? ie.seat covers, carpet, headliner, door covers, dash pads, etc.

If I can ever get time to set up, I will send pics of restore. I have taken 68 coupe all the way down. It is incredible. I never thought I would go this far with it.
I am using engine from 66 Fairlane 289 with 60,000 miles. This car is going to be all stock except for rims. Lot of original chrome will go back on the car. More later.

Personal preference on interior, after having installed both brands, I like TMI over Distinctive. Both are excellent, just I prefer TMI. I've had less problems with them over the years. Get a dashpad made from original Ford tooling, not the standard repo. The nicer fit is worth the few dollars extra.

Laserchill- I have a 67 coupe that was factory Brittany Blue and have purchased 2 tone Blue interior from California Mustang. I have a new complete upholstery skins that I did not installed yet. I am thinking of changing to a differnt interior color. If you are interested, I will send you some pictures. I will knock down the price I paid for you.

Hey Baker,

I am interested in looking at what you have. Please send pics if not too much trouble.

I contacted NPD and they priced me the whole interior in black w/woodgrain. I really liked the sound of that.

But I will not count out anything since I have shot my budget already.

I got 2 tone Aqua interior from Cal Mustang great people materials matched perfectly front and rear. Clearwater Aqua is a great color (personal choice) if you have light blue or aqua interior.
