New to MM. Swapped 65 6cyl with 66 V8. Swapped wiring harness under dash to take advantage of guages. All guages work except volt meter. Installed new harness from firewall to solenoid. I have a yellow wire, with nothing comming to it(at solenoid). wiring from voltage reg is still old wiring. Is voltage reg different for V8, and if so would it have a connecting yellow wire? Can anyone solve this yellow wire hookup? Thanks

Hi 65JAY-
Sorry I'm not sure on the specifics because I'm about 2-3 months down the road from being ready to pull the six for an 8. Any other questions on the swap post away while its fresh in mind.
Welcome to MustangsMore what a great place!
I'm sure you'll get an answer soon!
