Has anyone ever put these on a 68 Coupe, and if so, do I have to move the brake line on the driver's side? Also, how much is too much to pay for the bolt-on style? I've found 2 prices for the same thing. One place is 65.00, the other is 89.00. Thank for any info.

I like the C&E bolt in ones myself. Brake lines should be ok where they are.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS! I have always been told the bolt in style, were no where near as good. That for best resulst subframes must be welded in.Paul ------------------ 1970 Grande H code 351W FMX

Horsebalz, NPD and MMR both carry the C&E product as well as Summit. No floor mods required.Paul actually the C&E units work best when welded after bolting them in. It is not neccasary though. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS! I notice they make two weld in connectors for foxes. One requires cutting the floor pan and the other doesn't. Would I be correct in assuming the one that requires cutting makes a stronger connector?John

Yes, C&E is Competition Engineering, a division of Chevoso (Moroso) Performance.John, I installed the standard weld in C&E connectors in the convert. It's plenty stiff. They do require more triming and fitting than the instructions state. Ahh, Chevoso...I love 'em. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS!
