I have an interesting situation with my flywheel. I am going to replace the ring gear, and don't know whether to go with a 157 or 164 tooth gear. My flywheel has 160 teeth. The flywheel has orange paint over white, and it appears to be brinell tested on the imbalance weight. I have a digital pic if anyone wants to see it. The pic is clear enough to count the teeth. I've had the car since 1972, and the flywheel came with the car when I bought it.But, for a replacement, which ring gear should I use? Thanks, ------------------ 66 2+2 63B K-code. No mods.

Early stick starters had short noses and unique starter drives.
