I have an aftermarket WTG, and in the Thermostat housing there is a plug that screws in. My question is, does the sensor go in where the plug is? The fitting that's going to screw in looks about the same size as the plug. Also, should I use that white plumbers tape to wpap it when and if I put it there? Sorry people, I am not very smart about this, but I can follow directions well. Thanks for the time and info.

Sure, the t-stat housing is a fine place for a water temp sensor. In the water crossover of the intake manifold there's one (or more) pipe threaded holes if there isn't one available elsewhere. Teflon tape is a good idea ------------------ 1965 GT coupe, 333ci aluminum headed/solid cammed stroker, four speed, 3.70:1 9" All Blue Oval, no blue bottle http://mustangsandmore.50megs.com/V8Thumper.html
