Although I thought I was finished with my car (yeah, right), the more I drive it the more things I think I would like to upgrade on it (e.g. 5-speed, rack and pinion, steering etc.) I just came from a shop that had installed a complete MII type front suspension on a 68 fastback and it looked awesome. It really cleaned up the engine bay getting rid of the shock towers. The system they used was the RCMotorsports kit although I know there are several companies out there that market them. I've been thinking about doing this conversion on my 65 fastback to gain more engine room and to improve handling. Has anyone done this conversion and were you happy with the results ? I'm just wondering if it's worth the money. ------------------ 67convertible 289/auto 65fastback 302/4sp

i cant tell you about a stang but on the street rods i have driven, the ones with the mkii front ends are MUCH nicer to drive. they handle bumps/potholes with less jarring & you dont feel it in the steering wheel. i do know 1 person that had this done to his stang but i never go by what he says cause everything he does/has is the BEST, and you dont have to ask him if you know what i mean ! ------------------ 34 coupe powered by 351 c 4v keith
