I have a 1969 mustang sportroof with a 351W, automatic FMX Trans. I came across a set of Hedman Headers # 88300. My question is will these headers fit my application. I have installed the drop bracket for the power steering slave already. If they do,what hoops will I have to jump through to install them in the mustang. On the drivers side there is not much room between the shock tower. Do I come up from the bottom and fit them or do I have to loosen the motor mounts and rotate the motor to fit the drivers side. The passenger side looks like I can drop the headers in on that side from the top. Any help would be very appreciated.1969 Chrome Yellow Sportroof 351W 4V

They fit well. You will have to dissconnect the motor mounts and lift or jack up the engine a bit. They will come up through the bottom easiest.

my personal opinion with Hedman is they they fit good but the result is crap... excuse my language ,i-ve roasted in one month 4 sets of plug wire sets, try-ed them all, straight/135/90 degrees, the last set fitted well but only after i adjusted the piping from port no 5,7 and 8.Also the fitment of the Headerflange is even far from poor, i have had mine re-weldeld around the ports and milled, they leaked from moment 1 but everything is solved now, i even have had them chromed!!!! but that's my opinion about Hedman 88600 good luck with yours..
