Good Day,
Both NPD and Mustangs Unlimited list a heater seal kit that includes all the seals and gaskets for mounting and flapper doors etc. but "Does not include foam heater core seal". Does any one know where I can find this seal for a 67/68 with factory AC?

Gene try Classic Auto Air, they have about anything you would want for the heater boxes.

Are you talking about sealing up the case?

Wellll....,
After LOTS more research, I think I'm going to send the whole heater box/plenum to Classic Auto Air. Has anyone ever used their refurbishing service? Is it any good? They will completely refurbish including new seals thoughout, clean, test and refurbish the evaporator core for $219.00 (plus any fiberglass repairs). By the time all is said and done it will probably be somewhere between $325 and $375, but it will be a like new and ready to reinstall completely assembled unit. I know it's a lot of cash, but here in Las Vegas the AC HAS TO WORK as we sometimes hit 117+ degrees several days in a row and then cool down to maybe 105 or 107!!
Thanks,
Gene

I haven't used Classic Auto Air yet but I'm getting ready to. I'm completed disassembed the dash including the integral A/C on my 67 and it looks like I'm going to need a 'few' parts to restore it.
I've heard nothing but good things about them though.
