Were they functional in 67-68 shelby's or were they for show? Could you make them into functional scoops on a regular 67 fastback with the scoops and some duct work? Thanks. Tj

65-66 were functional.
67-70 were cosmetic only.
I suspect you could adapt the 65-66 aftermarket ducting and make them functional.

Thanks Alex for clearing that up for me. Now to just devise a way to make them functional, maybe some alum duct pipe and a sawzall!

I thought the 67 race cars that were built some were coupes ahd functional side scoops.

I'm sure the T/A coupes may have had functional ducting to cool the brakes, but GT-350/500 production cars did not.
