Anyone know anything about this carb? Autozone has them for $120. are they a good carb? I already like the holley so that's a given, but has anyone else out there used this carb?

Good carbs. Most Holley 4v hop up parts work/fit.

I wouldn't buy one rebuilt. Too much money and most likely has cheap components in it. I would scrounge junk yards as there are several different CFM ratings available. Check for these casting marks on the side of the fuel bowel.

Buy a quality rebuild kit from FORD.

0.98 190 CFM
1.01 240
1.02 245
1.08 287
1.14 300
1.21 351
1.23 356
1.33 424

And as stated, HOLLEY jets and other components will work in them.

Sorry Gary, but Holley jets DO NOT fit Autolite/Motorcraft carbs. The FoMoCo jets are larger.
Only very early long snout accelerator pump Autolite carbs used Holley style jets.

I stand corrected. It was my belief that they were interchangeable up to about 1964.

Holley's two barrel is a 2300, are these Autolite 2100s rebuilt by Holley?

By the way, I ran a Holley 2300 for a long time and it was a great carb.

Why not rebuild it yourself? It's a very easy carb to rebuild. Probably only cost you $25 or so for a kit, filter, float, and thermostat coil.

I just noticed that Steve.

Oops! Duh on me!

I thought he was talking about a 2300 all along.
Sorry.

I agree with Steve 100%.
Rebuilt your Autolite yourself and save about $100.
