Well, after spending much of the weekend on this, I have fixed the cowling leak on the 66. Using Stephanies method but spending less $$$$. I want to let you know though that I'm aware that the method I used was INTIRELY unconventional, but the results worked(how long? only time will tell.) Took the fender off and cleared the drain and could see the rusted through area of the vent. Crawled under the dash and pulled the vent like Stephanie did. That allowed me easy access to the cap and the rusted area. The rest of the repair went very smooth and deviates from Stephanies at that point, but suffice it to say, I poured more water down the cowling then this car will ever see in California and not even a dribble came inside. Man I'm sore though.------------------ http://webpages.charter.net/adragon8u/mystang
