Hi all,A friend of mine discovered 12 65-66 original rear brake proportioning valves in his basement. They were hydraulic audit samples from the factory and other than being performance tested once, they've sat in sealed bags since 1965. He opened on up the other day and they are in like new condition except for blistered paint on the outside due to brake fluid vapor. Can anyone tell me what these might be worth ? Thanks. John.

Welcome to M&M ! I have an NOS one and I have turned down $700 for it. Now, mine is NOS new and still has the original K-H plastic port plugs It too has a bit of blistering and some surface tarnishing. I suspect that they are worth close to $500 each if you can guarantee them.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS! $700 OMG, I didn't know they were worth that much. Makes me want to remove mine from my car and put it behind glass There's a resto shop here locally that sleeves them for $200 I think. Mine had some very minor bore pitting/blemishes; I honed and repacked it; so far, so good. Thanks to both of you.Yea, to say the least I was shocked to see they might be worth $500. I saw the parts yesterday and they really do look like new. I'm tracking a rebuilt unit on Ebay to see what it ends up going for. These are essentially NOS parts that never made it to Ford's Service Division. They were part of a Kelsey Hayes production run of service parts in 1978 (not 1966 like I originally thought) and have been in sealed storage since then. Thanks again for the feedback. Regards, John.
