I am converting the back end of my fast back to shelby deck lid end caps and taillight panel 68 taillight panel I have the fiberglass piece that has the built in buckets but they have to be cut in for light sockets. I also need a picture of a stock harnes if anyonbe has one so I can fab up a replacement. I am trying to make aan led type setup that will plug in to each of the three housings and sequencer for the whole panel. I made a sequencing panel for an emergency call box pole that we sell were I work. I just need to see the inside of the trunk where the lights and harness come thru the metal panel. Got any pics?

I have 68 Shelby, but right now it's backed up against the garage on stands & I can not get to the trunk. I imagine it's the same as any mustang setup w acouple of extra wires coming off the main harness for extra 2 lights on each side.--I can send you the diagram of the Sequential tail light hook up if you need that. When I got my car years ago the only rear lights that worked were the tail lights nothing else.I finally did get all lights to work the way they should but it was a PITA.In order to get all lights working ,the turn signal & brakes work together with a special flasher TUNG-SOL or WAGNER flasher #323 HAS to be used also. NO Ideal or heavy duty flasher.---Later--S.

One other thing, my dir.signal stoped working which has a bearing on the sequential lights & brake lights etc. Steering wheel has to come off for the turn sig.to be enstalled. I did not want to deal with all that & let the local repair shop do it. I had to order turn sig. from Mustang Unlimited, came in a sealed packaged & all. BUT the garage called & said the part was wired wrong when it was made up in China, [not the first time Iv'e heard this ] so beware if you have to get this part.---S.

I'm working on a '67 Shelby now. I can take a picture over the next few days. Send me a reminder email to [email protected].
