Are the 302 Z bars different on a 69 Mustang than a 351W motor? And are 69 351W Z bars different than a 65 Z bar?

Shoe, What I find in numerous catalogs is that there is a different part for 69 302-351 equlizer bars. Can't tell you the difference. There is a big difference between a 65 and 69 bar. I do know that for sure. ------------------ Mike Golliver MCA Gold Card Judge-Modifieds 65 Kcode coupe 347 stroker modified 5-speed MCA Retired 66 convertible-3 dueces and a 5-speed with a 289 89 T-Bird Super coupe 01 Mustang GT Convt

I guess the diff between the 302 and the 351 is because the 351 is wider and the 65s engine compartment is smaller than the 67-70.65-66 is suppose to have a smaller engine compartment than the 67-70 but I don?t know if the frame rail spacing if different. 67 289 bar is different from 69 351w bar, different shape and the 69 is about 3/8 inch wider. I had to use a 69 z bar to clear my headers, cut some off the width to make it fit.------------------ Stuart MCA #48902 M&M #1091 67 stang 5 speed, 351W, Edelbrock Performer RPM package my photo page
