I just got a pair of JBA shorty headers for my 66. The instructions recommend takeing it to a muffler shop to have an H-pipe made up to fit the headers. Has any one done this and what did it run them. It looks like I will have to have them put the headers on along with the H-pipe . other wise I would have to run it to the muffler shop on open headers. Its a GT and already has Duel exaust and a H-pipe installed.

Shop around. I have found that the independents are usually much cheaper on custom work.
Best to go in and speak with the manger and make an appointment on an "off" or slow day such as Tuesday.
$125 to $175 is what I have seen for quality work parts and labor.
