I'm getting ready to install a new deluxe steering wheel on my car and noticed that the two metal prongs on the back of the hub of the new wheel that cancel the turn signal indicator don't match the orientation of my current steering wheel.
Does anyone know what the correct position is supposed to be ?

I'm not sure of the exact location, but not sure that it matters either. They just click the turn signal back to off, don't they?

Just looked at a 66 woodgrain wheel that is just the way it was when taken off car. The Left spoke is perpendicular or 180 degrees to the prongs. The idea would be that the signals would cancel when the wheel comes back to regular driving position.

Thanks for your help. That makes sense now that I think about it.
