Hello again,
I introduced myself the other day and someone asked for info about my car, so here goes.
1969 red mach1. 351C with a C4 and 3.50 trac-loc.
Everything is pretty much new since I started the restoration in fall 1999. Rebuilt engine, trans, rearend, new interior, glass, trim, ect.
The paint is from the 2001 ford lightning pickup sprayed by myself. Actually, I did most all the work myself. It was a mess when I started and its far from done.
Here is a link to some recent pictures.

Tell me what you think, and be honest, I can take it.
Later....Kevin

...and welcome! Ok you want honesty?

The last time I got that close to a Crapmaro, I got this rash all over me that took 6 baths in a mix of oatmeal, and tomato juice to clear it up. (Enough foolishness) You gotchya a nice example of a Mach1 there and the effort shows. Nice color too.

Great job.
There is a guy that goes to the local shows and he has a very similar looking red Mach1 from 69. Its my favorite from all the local show goers. well done.

Is this your car before you worked on it? Amazing job if it is. Actually, it's a great looking car regardless.

No, thats not my car "Before". It was in sad shape, but not quite that bad.
I am running 235/60/15 on 15x7 magnums up front and 255/60/15 on 15x8 magnums in the back. There is a guy in Des Moines that takes your old 14" wheel, cuts out the center and welds them to new outer rims to whatever size and offset you want.
Thanks for the all the complements...
Kevin

So thats why I cant get any stations to come in.
Actually, I thought it was a good idea at the time, now I wish I hadn't deleted it. I have a hidden antenna, but its weak.
I am also planning a carb, intake, cam, and torque converter change in the near future.

Kevin welcome to M&M. Nice looking Mach 1 but I am partial to the GOOD looks of the 69's as I am restoring a 69 Coupe as it was one of the first Mustangs I owned & it has some sentimental connection to my younger years.
