this is kind of a dumb question but im not sure what the torque is for the bolt that holds the front brake hose to the caliper. this is for my 69. also, how is it installed with the washers? is there supposed to be a washer on either side of the brake hose or are both washers next to the head of the bolt? the brakes were apart when i got the car so i dont know how it was originally. thanks.

kewljay,

I do not think I have ever seen a torque called out for these bolts, the manuals always just say tighten them. When you install the hoses there must be a washer on each side of the hose, this act as seals also. I never reuse these washers it is cheap insurance to go and pick up 4 new washers from your local parts house to prevent leaks.

Osborn's manual says 17-25 ft/lbs. And don't forget those are copper washers.
