I just need an idea on what to ask for this motor. 289 4 bbl 'A' code engine. I was gonna keep it around as a spare but need the stand for the new motor The motor has everything but the push rods. Needs some machining and a valve job and rings. No Idea of current bore specs. I believe all parts are original. I will probably put an ad in the paper. Here is the web-site with photos: http://members.cox.net/351w/289.htmlThanks for any advise ------------------ http://members.cox.net/351w/289.html Deluxe Coupe 289 4v Fact Air, Front Discs

I saw a 289, not even a mustang engine in the local papers go for 550 (at least this was his asking price.) But mind you it was made to K code specs... but if your's is an actual mustang engine.. then hey.. good luck!
