Okay, What is the major difference between the Negative wedge kits for the 65/66 and the 67-73 mustangs?
I stumbled onto this while google-ing for something else... will it work on my 65?
Was planning on doing the Shelby 1" drop, if this will work on my 65 I'll go the 1 3/4" drop and get a pair of these made by my friendly machinist....

I dont think there is much difference but some are 3 bolt types and some are 4 bolt, so it depends what kind of upper control arm you have.

Indyphil is correct, the 65-66 ball joints were 4 bolt. In 67 Ford changed to the 3 bolt ball joint, but there are some 67-69 that have the 4 bolt ball joint. All 70 - 73 use the 3 bolt design. The drawing you have will work if your car still has the 4 bolt ball joints on it, but check both sides incase a PO changed 1 of the control arms.
