I was under my car the other day spraying on some undercoat and decided to see what would happen if I sprayed a light coat on the mufflers since they are in need of replacement but not on my emmediate list to replace just yet. To my surprise and delight, it silenced them enough to make my neigbhors happy for now. especially the drivers side muffler which was thin and would vibrate and resonate at a certain rpm that would really annoy them. just bought a few more days at least.------------------ 66 coupe 289 C4 auto 90 ranger 2.3 95 Aspire "someone who knows how will always have a job working for someone who knows why" http://webpages.charter.net/adragon8u/mystang

Doesn,t the stuff burn off and create smoke and a bad smell? If not then it sounds like a quick easy temporary fix

I'm sure that's a very good idea. this will just allow me to run the engine in my carport with out annoying my neighbors to much. a new set of mufflers are not too far down the road.(just buying time)------------------ 66 coupe 289 C4 auto 90 ranger 2.3 95 Aspire "someone who knows how will always have a job working for someone who knows why" http://webpages.charter.net/adragon8u/mystang
