I need to transfer the metal part on the lower edge of my fastback window with the same part from a coupe window. Any suggestions what kind of glue I should use? Type of glue is what I need, rather than a brand name, since I live in an Eastwood-challenged country.

Modern windshields are bonded and the modern adhesives are incredibly strong, I'd use that. Self etching primer would work great for that, after a thourough cleaning.------------------
