Which of the many brands out there should I consider for putting on my stock heads? Comp, Crane, Edelbrock, and probably more that I can't remember. Not doing anything radical to the heads other than trying to free them up alittle with the roller tips. Can I use the stock pushrods and lifters with roller tips? Ireeder, hope you chime in here! Comp Cams 'Magnum' rockers are pivot fulcrum and roller tipped, and very affordable. ProMagnums are roller fulcrum and tip, but still reasonable as far as roller rockers go. Crane, Harland Sharp are very good but also very expensive. You may or may not have valvecover clearance issues, rollers are tall and fat; just something to keep in mind. I like the Comp stuff ------------------ 1965 GT coupe, 333ci aluminum headed/solid cammed stroker, four speed, 3.70:1 9" All Blue Oval, no blue bottle http://mustangsandmore.50megs.com/V8Thumper.html

The lifters and pushrods do not have to be changed, I bought a used set of Crane's and am very happy with the quality.------------------ 69 393W Sportsroof Deluxe

Must be a matter of perspective, I view Harland Sharps as being cheap. [This message has been edited by kid vishus (edited 08-11-2003).]

Have you changed over to screw in studs yet or do you still have the press in studs? If you still have pressed in studs you will be limited to something like the Comp Magnum that are the rail type. I think all of the full roller rockers are made for use with guide plates, so you need screw in studs. Also the polylocks that come with the full roller rockers will be 3/8" and will not work with the press in studs.------------------ Ronnie 69 mach1 351W-4V engineless at the time! 70 Torino GT 351C-4v with a "shaker" Mustangs and More Member #23

Ronnie T,,,,,Stock press in studs still in heads, probably go with the Comp Magnums until I can afford the Trickflow heads. Just wanted a little something better(roller tips) for now than the stock rockers. Thanks to all that have replied ------------------ 1969 Sportsroof,302,C4 1999 F250 CC 4x4 Powerstroke 2002 F250 Powerstroke
