Just got my remote mirror in from e-bay. I can't seem to get the little control thing to fit right in the chrome bezel that mounts in the door panel. The remote wires in the back hit the backside of the bezel and won't allow it to sit flush,,,they seem to be in a bind if I force them into it. The retainer nut is another story,,can't figure out how it will ever lay flat in the bezel.
Stumped for now.
Picture's of this would be helpfull to me if you guys would be so kind to take a few for me
Thanks

Figured it out!!!
The mirror I bought was advertised as for a 69/70. The adjuster dealy is at a 90 instead of sratight out. The one I bought is for a 71/72,,,,Figures
I didn't pay attention to the end when I was bidding on it,,guess I'll be a little more careful next time,,,Nice mirror though, just need to trade it for a good 69 mirror.

Might be for a 70' model then. The 69's had a straight toggle, and the 70's had the 90 degree toggles. The mirrors and bases are the same, but you need the correct bezel for each year.
