Over in Sam's I asked about shipping glass, now I need to know the value. The glass is a 1970 coupe, passenger side, factory tinted, no scratches. What are these going for? I'm wondering since I may be selling the one I have to somebody, and want to ask for fair price.------------------ Gary M.- '70 Mustang 63B (Deluxe SportsRoof)-my daily driver, '46 Ford pickup street rod, '46 Ford pickup street rod (the Mutt), '57 Ford Fairlane 500 Town Vic-waiting for resto-mod

Just as a guide, I now have a large '68 glass collection, and my price tag on coupe side windows is $20 a piece. They are, of course, the cheapest of all Stang glass -- the least likely to be broken, and the commonest. Actually, I've never managed to sell one Windshields, on the other hand, shift like hot cakes!

Well, I was thinking of asking somethig like $20-25 for it. So I guess that's not an all bad price. I already have a buyer for it, just wanted to know what to ask.------------------ Gary M.- '70 Mustang 63B (Deluxe SportsRoof)-my daily driver, '46 Ford pickup street rod, '46 Ford pickup street rod (the Mutt), '57 Ford Fairlane 500 Town Vic-waiting for resto-mod

I would say $50 at least. That glass is not easy to find. EddieD had a heck of a time finding one for his '70. SteveW

Steve is right on target with his quote of $50. They are getting hard to come by for a 70. Yeah, sounds good - $50. Supply and demand comes in of course. Where I live, 65-66 parts cars are 10 a penny, 67s are common, 68s are fairly scarce, 69s are very scarce, 70s are non-existent, and 71-3 are fairly scarce.

$50 is very cheap for the 1970 bolt-in glass, especially with factory tint. Every one I have seen or sold myself on ebay went for much more than this. The 69' owner's are also on the look-out for these windows to gte away from the sloppy glue-in type they currently have (like me).

So $25 is letting it go too cheap. Cool, a little more $ would be better. Thanks a bunch guys! ------------------ Gary M.- '70 Mustang 63B (Deluxe SportsRoof)-my daily driver, '46 Ford pickup street rod, '46 Ford pickup street rod (the Mutt), '57 Ford Fairlane 500 Town Vic-waiting for resto-mod
