Theres an article about the T56 six speed in the latest issue of muscle car review. they bought it from D&D
www.ddperformance.com
I dont think many people have done it to a classic so you will be lucky to find someone on here that will be able to help with details.

I do know that the Viper version comes with a 0.50 overdrive. That means you can run a 4.11 rear end and cruise like its a 2.05 along the highway.

I was thinking about this but then I thought that if I keep my motor in street trim with street tires then I wont want 6 gears. 5 is enough. if you go to low on gears in 1st then its hard to drive (can you say wheelspin) and you need to shift to quickly all the time. Maybe the cobra 6 speed with 3.80something gears would be better.
