I just spent about 8 hours re-doing the install of my Global West Front End Suspension. Here are some hints if you are installing on your 65-66 Mustang. It's real easy with no motor in the car, BUT with a 351W and Headers installed, you can't loosen the Upper A-Arm Nuts so that you can adjust the camber on the car. The bolts come from Global West brazed fast so you can't turn them from the outside of the engine compartment. Take a die grinder and cut the braze off before installing so that you can turn the bolt from the outside of the car. MUCH EASIRE TO ADJUST THE CAMBER NOW Also before installing, there is a black spacer that goes between the A-Arm and the shock tower. It has 2 holes that the bolts go through, Notch this part so that it will drop in over the bolts from the top, That way you can remove it by just loosening the bolts, rather than having to remove them. Mine was too thick and I had to remove and use thinner shims to get the right camber. The Suspension is beautiful and very well built, but without these changes you can't get it aligned, at least not with a 351W. ------------------ Have a Wonderful Day CandyApple 65 Fastback 351W, Hooker Super Comps,4 Speed Versaille 9" Rear End Global West Front End [email protected]
