This might sound like a simple question, but I am installing my plastic interior panels around the trap door opening and wonder how everyone attaches these. The previous owner used pop rivets that I had to drill out or were all these installed that way? Using clip on nutplates would work for some but the holes along the sides have a lip that won't allow this. I am curious how others have these installed.------------------ 69 393W Sportsroof Deluxe

Clark, These panels in my 69 are installed with rivets. As far as I can tell this is how they were installed at the factory. ------------------ Ronnie 69 mach1 351W-4V engineless at the time! 70 Torino GT 351C-4v with a "shaker" Mustangs and More Member #23

Thanks Ronnie, I have to keep telling myself that these cars were not put together with the greatest technology. Since I am not going concourse, I will substitute with something a little easier to remove. ------------------ 69 393W Sportsroof Deluxe

On a Mustang with the 'Sport Deck' fold down seat option, there's a door that opens the interior to the trunk so you can carry skis, lumber, or bodies. ------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 Please remember our sponsors, Mustangs Plus, NPD, Osborn Reproductions, MyFordPerformance.com, and FordRamAir.com
