Rick,
I ordered a bunch of parts from your NPD store in Michigan because I had heard so many good things on the M&M website.
The order arrived quickly, Invoice # MI1057986 but I was shorted on the Door Lock Grommet set, Part # 21999-1K. They are only $0.99 but I need them. I called the store right away and told them and also ordered more parts, Invoice # MI1058800 and they said they would send them out right away. I get the order and again, no door lock grommets.
So then I emailed them explaining it again. NO REPLY.
Can you help me out and see if they can send them to me?
Thanks, Ekbeanctr from M&M

PS: I tried emailing you direct, but it came back undeliverable.

Ernest, it's totally my fault that your email has not been answered. All customer service emails come across my computer here in Florida first, and then I disperse them to where they need to go, sometimes with instructions for the managers. It's a good way to keep an "eye" on things. I quickly forwarded yours on up to our Michigan store manager, totally forgetting that he was on vacation this week! So your email is just sitting up there on his computer, simmering. Sorry about that. Quite frankly, these types of flub-ups do happen from time to time, where people may be out sick, or an email accidently gets forwarded to a dead-end address, etc.etc.. That's why I strongly recommend calling us directly whenever there's an issue that you want to make sure gets handled, not lost. Any time you've got a problem in Michigan, just call toll-free and ask for Jeff Fein (sales manager), and he'll promptly fix your problem right there on the spot. I've found that sometimes email, in general terms, is almost about as effective as folding a note into a paper airplane and tossing it through the window of a company. It's a calculated gamble whether or not anyone will ever act on it. That's not the way we handle emails here, but that's what I see elsewhere in the big picture. Anyhow, you should be getting a package delivered tomorrow with your door lock grommets enclosed, I've handled it. My apologies for your inconvenience, thanks for being persistent enough to get my attention, or you would have been stewing without a reply from the email in Michigan till next week!

I ordered a set of door lock grommets along with other things from NPD and as usual they arrived promptly. They used paper as a packing material and when I opened the package I threw the packing paper away and could not find the grommets as they are so small in their package. After looking again in the packing paper I found them all nice and protected, my bad for not checking closer when opening.

Yes, being clear plastic in a clear poly bag, they can be pretty invisible. But our shippers are supposed to take measures to make things like that easier, such as taping them to other parts or seperate poly-bagging so that nothing gets lost.

I thought maybe I had lost them also, But all the other parts were put into a bigger bag and they were not in there. I also took the paper out and put it on the floor and removed all the wrinkles to make sure. By the Way, nice heavy paper, very useful in making a pattern for my trunk floor.
Rick, Thanks so much for taking care of my problem, It's much appreciated. Ernie
