Do anyone know of a bolt in power steering rack & pinion steering for a 1967 mustang or any suggetion on improvings the ford system. Thank

Well...You have three methods of doing this with your chassis;There is also the option of updating the system you have to Shelby Mustang specs which will give you a lot of steering effort improvement. ------------------ I am looking for information concerning factory performance/speed parts used on the MEL (Mercury-Edsel-Lincoln) Engine Series (383-410-430-462) from 1958 thru 1968.

There are a couple of other options I know of, but somehow I lost my computer files on these. I had a web page once from a guy who swore by doing a conversion using Oldsmobile parts. And there's also a Toyota van conversion that's supposed to work well. The Oldsmobile conversion was on the web. Maybe you can find it again?

Taurus rack can be done much cheaper.

I paid $100 for an SHO rack, a standard rack is $75.If you use Mustang II tie rods you don't have to re-thread them like the Fiero rods.
