What were these Different Carbs used for originaly Does any one Know ? BornInAFord Gearhead Posts: 239 From: Bend, OR, USA Registered: Dec 2002	posted 04-11-2003 08:35 PM Doc, Both the A and K code 289's came with Autolite 4100's, with the A code rated at 480CFM and had 1.08" venturis. I believe the K code had 1.12" venturis, a manual choke, and were rated at a higher CFM. When you ask about OEM (original equipment manufacturer) carbs, I think any of your listed carbs are OEM, although maybe not original for 1965 to 1966. Some of them also are service replacements.
