I grew up in kansas have a brother in independece mo. and an aunt in lawrence. My car will be painted back original T5 code candy apple red with the blackouts but I am also going to black out the headlights and the tail light panel like the 69 boss 302 because I think that it will have too much RED when looking at the front and back of the car. Do you all think this is a good Idea or should I just keep it original??? ------------------ 1969 MACH 1 THE FEEL AND SOUND OF A FORD V-8 IS ALL THE DRUGS A MAN NEEDS

I personally would keep it original, but it is your car, so do what you want and what makes you happy. It will look great no matter what you do to it. Nice car. Like John said, it's your car but I would paint it like original, too. It's pretty hard to improve on Ford's styling of the '69-'70. {except to leave the '69 side stripe off} As long as you don't paint the mirrors and side scoops black, I guess. That looks terrible, IMHO. ------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 Please remember our sponsors, Mustangs Plus, NPD, Osborn Reproductions, MyFordPerformance.com, and FordRamAir.com
