Anyone know how to tell if a coupe is a GT or plain jane?

Was a scoop an option on all Mustangs(standard on Mach1's of coarse)?

The GT was available with engines 351 or larger, got GT rocker panel stripes, GT gas cap, GT hubcaps on styled steel wheels, hood pins, HD suspension, the Cobra Jet scoop, and dual exhaust cars got the twin chrome tailpipes.

And yes, you could get the scoop on anything in '69 and '70. I've even seen them on six bangers.
