Ok... I've got a 66 FB with a 200 auto. After looking into rebuilding the C4, I'm thinking a T5 swap might be a reasonable alternative. I've got the clutch linkage from a 65 parts car, but I need to know what kind of bellhousing I should use. The 65 had a 3.03 behind a 200, would that housing work with one of those spacer plates? The housing P/N is C3UA-6394-A. How about the yoke? Would I need a new one of those? Would the driveshaft have to be shortened? What kind of clutch should I use? I'd need a 9" disk with a 1-1/16" spline, right? Well, I think that covers most of it - thanks in advance. Andy

Andy, first of all welcome to M&M! Second of all, register over at www.fordsix.com and ask over there -- "Al" over there has a full page of all his findings on doing T-5 swaps with various year sixes and bellhousings best of luck and I assure you you will LOVE the T-5!!!! Look for a 4-cyl T-5 from an 87-93 Fox body, any year Thunderbird TC, or SVO Mustang and youll be fine -- you need to use the appropriate clutch for whichever year T-5 you buy (in my case I used the $30 clutch for an '89 4-cyl Mustang), a '67 throwout bearing ($30) and appropriate pilot bearing along with the appropriate adapter plate which youll find out when you go over to www.fordsix.com have a good one!!! pics of your fastback would be great too! ------------------ CrAzY Dan~ 1965 Coupe "BeeBop" 200ci Straight Six, T-5, Cliffy 6-2 header, and some other goodies :)https://mustangsandmore.com//ubb/TheIceman.html July of 2000 pics http://kingroyale.50megs.com/] Newest Pics! 1988 Notchback ~~ 2.3 w/AOD...upgrades coming soon! Thanks for the welcome Iceman, I've been over to fordsix. I bought a T5 out of an 85 TC, so that's one step done. I'll try and put up some pics sometime - it's just in primer right now, paint is still a little ways down the road at this point. Anyway, wish me luck with this!Andy

Yeah, thanks guys. There's always a little more than you anticipate. I'm trying to track down a 2.77 bellhousing right now...
