Question. Sometimes when I crank the car repeatedly (like when it's having trouble starting) the gauges and wipers and turn signals (but not hazards) will be dead. Then I turn the car off, start it again, and everything is fine. What's up? Am I tripping some circuit breaker?------------------ Gary M.- 1970 Mustang Deluxe SportsRoof (daily driver), 1946 Ford pickup, 1947 Ford pickup, 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Town Vic

Had the exact same problem with my 65FB, it turned out to be the ignition was just worn out, I had to wiggle the key to get everything to power up. I got a good used ignition with key from a local guy who was parting out his 65 coupe for $2.00, check yours out, might be that is the problem.
