I'm building up my engine, and wanted to have a serpentine belt on there rather than several regular V style belts. Anyone know of a good website that has pulley kits for this?? I haven't bought any of my engine accesories yet (ie power steering pump, H2O pump, alternator, etc), so I'm pretty open on what I can do. It's a new engine too, so I don't have any of the mounting brackets for all the fun toys that mount on the engine...

Find a 5.0 in the wrecking yard and take the Timing cover, water pump, brackets and all accesories. They are all different than a v-belt motor. The water pump turns backwards and the lower radiator hose is on the other side too. So you'll have to modify your radiator if you have one now. There are other differences too like the dip stick, but my fingers are getting tired.
Good luck,

Great idea. Thanks! That should save me a bundle if I can salvage all the "accesories".

Make sure you get one with the provision for a fuel pump, if you need it.
