I'm buying a new set of Torque Thrust D wheels for my 69 Mach 1, 15x7 on the front and 15x8.5 on the rear. Will these wheels clear on the rear with the standard offset. I plan to use 275/50x15 tires.------------------ 69 mach I w/351c 91 f150 4x4 swb

I found these posts in the Racing forum: quote: Originally posted by stroker man: i have 275-60-15 on back of my 69, but the backspace is off,3\3\4, think you need at least 4 to 4.50 backspace, mine hit the fender lip on bumps, might go with lower tire instead of buying new custom rims, torque thrusts 11's.

If you run traction bars, you will have to grind them down. And you will have to clearance the inner wheel well. He runs slide-a-links and they clear fine. They fit inside and look great. Hope this helps.
