I searched the archives with no luck. I have a tranny from a 3.8 v-6 engine I want to mate to my 82 302HO in my 68 fastback. The casting say RFE2AP7006AA. The data tag reads PEP Z1 E5DP FA. There are no wires except the neutral switch on the tranny. Is this a C-4 like I was told? The way I read it, this is a 1985 tranny. Didn't Ford stop C-4s in 1981? The bell housing mounts with the pump bolts. Help!

It's a C-5 which is a C-4 with a lock up converter. A V-8 bell housing will bolt up to it.
