I found this site that sells windshields at wholesale prices. They are currently offering a 15% discount for online purchases. I got a quote for a non-original for my old '66 beater for $143.20!

windshieldstogo.com

Anyone ever heard of them?

I went ahead and ordered a windshield online yesterday morning and got a call from rep 2 hrs later and was told where to pick it up at the nearest Safelite warehouse. I was very pleased with the experience. Didn't have to pay any sales tax either! All local shops wanted $200-250 plus tax and I only paid $144.

Are you installing the window yourself or did that price include installation?

I will be installing it myself because I have to replace a headliner and rear seal at the same time. They quoted $285.40 for full installation.
