I have the wiring pulled out of the engine compartment and want to clean it up a bit. Where can I find instructions on applying the old non-adhesive wrap to make the cables reasonably "original"? The previous owner simply used wire-ties, but I think I can do a little better than that! I have a roll of the correct wrap, but I don't know how they fixed the ends so it wouldn't unravel.

They start and terminate the wrap with normal electrical tape, plastic for later cars, friction tape for earlier cars.
