Hello! Need a little help here. I am helping a young man work on his first Mustang. He purchased a used Motorsport Tachometer that has a shift light attached. I am not familiar with the Motorsport Tachs so need some helpe here, since there was no manual or instructions with the used tach. The wiring harness was cut and there are four wires: white, black, green and red. Can someone tell me what colored wires hook to where?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Same as Autometer Gene.
Red is trigger or negative side of the coil
White is 12v for the light
Black is a ground
Green is for the shift light.
