The rear quarters had been replaced on my 68 and the Reflectors were never remounted. This is a late model year with the chrome trim on the bezel. I can't seem to find anything in the Shop manual or Assembly manuals that give the correct location to mount these. Also, don't know anyone in this area (central NJ) that has a similar 68 so I could copy the measurements. Can anyone help?

Boy, youre real close to me!Both of my cars have the earlier style reflectors but I think the coupe I parted out had the kind you have. Im in the process of cutting up the body (at least whats left of it) and I think that part is mostly intact. Its at my parents house in East Brunswick so Ill have to take a ride over there. Oh, I almost forgot to welcome you to the site! If you have a sense oh humor youll love it here! ------------------ Ed S. 68 S-code FB GT 4spd(now C6)/3.25 PS PDB 68 J-code(now 289) Cp Sprint"B" C4/3L00-9" PDB PS AC 99 F150 XLT Ext/cab, 4X4, 5.4L, 3L55 95 Exploder XLT with the works! The hole closest to the rear of the 1/4, closest to tailights, is 12" on center of hole. Holding your tape down from crown of fender, make a mark at the 12" point. Measure in from edge of 1/4 where the bumper recess starts 2 1/4" That should be the final mark for rear hole. Don't drill yet!Second hole is 12 1/2" on center of hole from edge of crown straight down.(hole closest to front of car} Make a mark. Distance on center between mounting holes for reflector is 5 5/8" Make a template of your medallion out of a piece of manila folder. Cut it out and make two mounting holes in that template. Tape it to the surface, after matching up marks that you made for drilling holes with the template holes. This will tell you if it is straight. Stand back and take a good look. Start with an 1/8" drill and go slowly. Hate to sound elementary on instructing but just want to be clear so there's no error. If it doesn't look right post an entry. I measured twice and did both sides. My car has original 1/4's that haven't been worked on. You may have some variation if you have repo panels. This is why a visual inspection of the template is so important.

Forgot to ask but what body style do you have? The fastback top bodyline is slightly different than that of a coupe and convertible.
