i am planning on buying the torque thrust d's for my 69 mach 1 because they look good on the car. The rear wheels will be wider than the front but my problem is i dont know what the maximum width is for my car. Summit sells 15x7, 15x8.5, and 15x10(they sell smaller but those are the sizes im looking at). i dont know much about the "back spacing" so i was hoping you guys could help me out with this. i dont know what other info you need about my car but would be happy to give it to you if needed. thanks.

I just measured things on my '68 using every spare wheel and tire we had in the garage which would drop over the studs.

Up front I'm shooting for 15 x 7's with 3 3/4 to 3 7/8 back spacing. That should hold 215/60/15's pretty normally.

In back I slid on some 10 inch wheels with no tires unfortunately. They had 4 7/8 back spacing and just stuck out a bit. I will try to get 8.5 wheels with a similar or slightly less back spacing to hold 265/50/15's.

BUT, I haven't even ordered these yet. That's probably two weeks into the future.
