Thinking of putting the 4 point Branda rollbar in. Has anyone done this where you have to cut holes in the plastic side panels under the vents and just how do you go about measuring exactly where to cut holes? Use a holesaw? What about welding on tabs to handle a 3 or 5 point seat belt/harness?

I would contact Branda, they offer the roll bar and I would think someone there should be able to help answer your question/s

I did it on my 65 and its not that hard.Take seats out.Start with rough measurements and cut tight the panel will be cut into the curve.I used a jigsaw. If you notice on a Shelby they cut a pretty big hole.Mine is tight ond looks great.I also used windlace to cover cut and give it a finished look. The only thing is on a 65 the light in the panel had a tube on the backside I cut to make it easier to slide in and out.I had a harder time with my shelf.I wraped my 5pt belts but welding taps should be no problem.
