Someone call it to my attention last night at a car show about my parking light bulbs and front side marker light bulbs on my 1968... Both lenses are white but am not sure what bulb I should use, would appreciate a little help, should the bulbs be..........
1--front parking lights amber and front side marker lights amber.

2--front parking lights white and front side marker lights amber.

3--front parking lights amber and front side marker lights white.

4--front parking lights white and front side marker lights white.
I was told it should be #1 but I have #3

I thought it was 2 At the least, I'm 99.999% sure the side lights are amber. I believe there's some good info on this in the NPD catalogue. I'll dig it out if no one else can answer for sure.

In the book I have it has the following bulb list for a 68 Mustang.

Park and Turn Signal - 1157-A
Front Side Marker - 1178-A

That would make #1 correct.

The book I use is the CHILTON'S Auto Repair Manual 1964-1971, for those who remeber them it is just like the MOTOR Auto Repair Manuals, I just could not find a MOTOR manual to cover these years.
