Have any of you guys tried the LED tail lamps sold by California Mustang, and if so what did you think of them?

I haven't tried the assembly sold by NPD, but I do have some LED-bulbs in the tail-lights of my 71. They are a cluster of several LED's mounted in an 1157 base. They are much brighter and they react a lot faster than the regular bulbs. For some reason, the turn signals work a little faster with them installed. I especially like the fact that they have very little heat output. If they make an 1156-style, that would be great for people with 4-speed cars who want to listen to the radio with the key in the 'ACC' position. Since the trans must be in reverse to use the 'ACC' position, the reverse lights will be on the whoile time you are listening to the radio. The heat often causes the white plastic lenses of the reverse lights to discolor and melt.
I bought the bulbs from the local 'Auto-Zone', and they were about $15 for two, and they have a lifetime guarantee. So far I like them a lot.
